Welcome Home

Welcome Home

There's something about the start of a new month that always feels like a fresh beginning.

A blank page.

A new opportunity.

A reminder that no matter what last month looked like, there's still room to grow.

As I welcome July, I can't help but smile because this month carries a dream I've been working toward for years.

In just a couple of weeks, Ur Skin Therapist will officially open its doors.

Even typing those words gives me chills.

Home Isn't Just a Place

I've spent the last several weeks working behind the scenes.

Ordering products.

Organizing treatment protocols.

Setting up equipment.

Folding towels.

Labeling shelves.

Testing systems.

Creating client experiences.

Perfecting every little detail.

Most people will only see the finished space.

But I've learned that some of the most important work happens long before anyone walks through the door.

And honestly,

That's true for life, too.

Growth Doesn't Always Look Glamorous

Social media often celebrates the finished product.

The ribbon cutting.

The grand opening.

The before-and-after photos.

But very few people talk about everything that happens before those moments.

The pivots.

The waiting.

The changes to the plan.

The moments when things don't happen exactly how you imagined.

This season has reminded me that progress isn't always about moving fast.

Sometimes progress is simply refusing to quit when the timeline changes.

I've learned that just because something doesn't happen when you expected it to...

doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Preparation Is Part of the Promise

There was a time when delays would have frustrated me.

I would have questioned everything.

I would have wondered if I was doing something wrong.

But this season has taught me something different.

Preparation is never wasted.

Every extra day has allowed me to make the client experience even better.

To slow down.

To think through every detail.

To ask myself,

"If someone trusts me with their skin, how do I want them to feel the moment they walk through my door?"

The answer has always been the same.

Seen.

Heard.

Welcomed.

Confident.

That's worth taking the time to get right.

This Dream Was Never Built Overnight

People sometimes ask how all of this happened.

The truth is...

It didn't happen overnight.

It was built through years of saying yes when I was scared.

Teaching classes.

Mentoring beauty professionals.

Serving clients with excellence.

Attending conferences.

Building relationships.

Creating educational content.

Continuing my education.

Showing up consistently—even when no one was watching.

Dreams aren't built in one big moment.

They're built through thousands of small decisions that nobody applauds.

Until one day...

Everyone notices what you've been building all along.

If You're in a Season of Waiting

Maybe you're waiting on your own next chapter.

Maybe your plans haven't unfolded the way you expected.

Maybe you've had to pivot more times than you can count.

I want to encourage you today.

Don't confuse a change in timing with a change in purpose.

Sometimes life asks us to slow down—not because we're failing, but because we're being prepared for something greater.

Trust the process.

Keep showing up.

Keep learning.

Keep growing.

Your breakthrough may be closer than you think.

July Feels Different

This month marks more than the opening of a skincare studio.

It marks the beginning of a new season.

A season of serving.

A season of educating.

A season of welcoming both familiar faces and brand-new clients into a space created with intention and love.

I'm excited for every appointment.

Every conversation.

Every skin transformation.

Every relationship that will begin inside these walls.

And while the doors haven't opened just yet...

The vision already has.

If this journey has taught me anything, it's this:

The destination is beautiful.

But the person you become on the way there is the real reward.

Thank you for following along.

Thank you for believing in this dream.

Thank you for celebrating every milestone with me—even the quiet ones that happen behind the scenes.

In just a couple of weeks, I'll finally get to say...

Welcome home.

And I can't wait.
