Hey bestie,
Turning 37 in three days has me in my feelings a little more than usual.
Not in a sad way — but in a reflective, grateful, wow-look-how-far-I’ve-come kind of way. The kind where you sit quietly for a moment and really take inventory of your life, your growth, and the lessons that shaped you.
Fifteen-plus years in the beauty industry has taught me so much more than skincare, techniques, or business strategy. It taught me resilience. It taught me patience. It taught me how to keep going when quitting would’ve been easier. And it taught me that success isn’t about how fast you move — it’s about how long you can sustain what you’re building.
At 37, I’m no longer chasing hustle for the sake of being busy. I’m chasing alignment. Peace. Purpose. A life that feels full without feeling heavy.
I’ve learned that rest is productive — even when the world tells us otherwise. That boundaries aren’t selfish, they’re protective. And that being booked doesn’t always mean being fulfilled. Those are lessons you only learn by living them.
This season feels softer. More intentional. I’m more aware of my body, my time, and my energy. I move differently now — with clarity instead of urgency. And that shift alone has changed everything.
I’m also feeling especially grateful for family right now.
Happy early 3rd birthday to the little guy who made me an auntie — sweet Enzo. Watching him grow, laugh, and discover the world has been such a reminder of how precious time really is. Kids have a way of grounding you, slowing you down, and reminding you what actually matters. Being able to celebrate life through their eyes is something I’ll never take for granted.
As I step into 37, I’m carrying gratitude with me. Gratitude for the woman I’ve become. Gratitude for the lessons that stretched me. Gratitude for the doors that opened — and even for the ones that didn’t, because they protected me in ways I didn’t understand at the time.
If you’re reading this and you’re early in your career, or even deep into it, hear me when I say this: protect your body, invest in education, and don’t tie your worth to how much you produce. Longevity matters. Peace matters. You matter.
You don’t have to do everything right now. You don’t have to prove anything. You’re allowed to grow at your own pace and build a life that actually supports you.
Turning 37 feels like stepping into a season of wisdom, grace, and intention — and I’m welcoming it with open hands.
