Today, my last name changes —& my heart becomes fuller.
Today, I say “I do” to forever.
To love.
To partnership.
To purpose.
To Langston.
I woke up this morning not as an esthetician, an educator, or a CEO…
But as a woman standing in a sacred moment, preparing to marry her best friend.
And I just want to pause, from the fullness of this day, and say:
Thank you.
Thank you to every person who’s cheered for me, booked with me, learned from me, shared a kind word, or followed my journey.
You’ve witnessed me build.
You’ve seen me hustle.
And now, you’re witnessing me walk into a brand new chapter—not just as a businesswoman, but as a wife.
Love and Business Can Coexist
For every woman wondering if she has to choose between love and her career—you don’t.
I’m here to tell you that the right partner will never dim your light.
He’ll match it. Reflect it. Protect it.
Langston has seen me on the highs and lows of this entrepreneurial journey. He’s watched me rebuild my business, dream bigger than I could explain, and love this beauty industry with everything in me.
And even with all that, he’s never asked me to shrink.
He simply asked to stand beside me.
What Today Means
Today isn’t just about the dress or the photos (although, let me tell you—they’re going to be stunning).
It’s about legacy.
It’s about building something that lasts—not just in business, but in love.
It’s about having someone who believes in your vision, even on the days when you question it yourself.
It’s about partnership in every sense of the word.
To My Fellow Beauty Bosses…
You can have a thriving business and a soft life.
You can lead with strength and still be held with gentleness.
You can be loved fully and still stand tall in your own light.
Don’t settle for love that costs you your purpose.
Wait for the kind that protects it.
To Langston…
Thank you for seeing me.
For loving all of me—CEO, mother, educator, and all the versions in between.
Today, I don’t just say “I do” to you.
I say yes to forever.
To faith.
To family.
To building something even greater—together.
Here’s to forever,
From Miss to Mrs.—with love, power, and gratitude.
XOXO 😘
