As I sit down to write this week's blog, I can't help but smile.
There are moments in life when everything you've been working toward begins to come together.
Not because the work is finished.
But because you can finally see the vision becoming reality.
That's exactly how this season feels.
Las Vegas, Here I Come
In just a few days, I'll be headed to Las Vegas for the Be+Well event, where I'll have the incredible honor of officially accepting my 2026 Esthetician of the Year award.
Even saying those words still feels surreal.
This isn't just about receiving an award.
It's about celebrating the journey.
The years of education.
The late nights.
The sacrifices.
The clients who trusted me.
The students who believed in me.
The brands who saw something in me.
The family who never stopped encouraging me.
This award belongs to every person who has been part of my journey.
More Than an Event
I'm also looking forward to reconnecting with friends I've met throughout this industry and meeting even more beauty professionals who are passionate about growing their businesses.
Every conference reminds me of something important:
The beauty industry is bigger than our treatment rooms.
Every handshake can become a partnership.
Every conversation can become an opportunity.
Every relationship can become a lifelong connection.
I've learned that some of the biggest opportunities in my career didn't happen because I was the smartest person in the room.
They happened because I showed up.
And Then...
As excited as I am for Las Vegas...
I'm just as excited for what happens when I get home.
Because next week...
I officially open the doors to Ur Skin Therapist.
It's hard to put into words what this moment means to me.
For years, I've dreamed about creating a space that combines corrective skincare, education, mentorship, and genuine client care.
A place where people feel seen.
A place where skin health comes first.
A place where beauty professionals can continue learning long after beauty school.
And now...
It's finally here.
This Has Been Years in the Making
People often see the announcement.
They celebrate the ribbon cutting.
They see the finished space.
But they don't always see the years that came before it.
The classes.
The certifications.
The trade shows.
The networking.
The social media posts.
The weekends spent studying.
The early mornings.
The late nights.
Every single step prepared me for this season.
And that's why I'm so grateful.
To Anyone Waiting on Their Breakthrough
If you've been working toward something that feels far away...
Don't stop.
Keep planting seeds.
Keep introducing yourself.
Keep learning.
Keep growing.
Keep saying yes to opportunities that stretch you.
Your breakthrough may not happen overnight.
Mine certainly didn't.
But one day you'll wake up and realize that all of those ordinary days were preparing you for an extraordinary season.
