Hey Bestie,
We’ve officially entered that time of year where everything moves fast — family gatherings, long work days, holiday events, and late nights that make your skin say, “Girl, I need a break.”
Between the stress, the weather, and the endless to-do lists, our skin (and our energy) can take a serious hit. So today, I want to remind you — whether you’re behind the treatment bed or in front of the mirror — to slow down, take a breath, and give your skin (and your soul) a little extra care. 💆🏽♀️
✨ For My Clients (and self-care lovers):
-
Hydrate inside and out. The cooler air and heaters can strip your skin fast. Keep your water bottle close and your moisturizer closer.
-
Stick with gentle. Now is not the time to experiment with harsh products or new actives. Keep your routine simple, soothing, and steady.
-
Don’t skip SPF. I know it’s cold, but UV rays don’t take a holiday. Your skin still needs protection.
-
Get your “glow appointment” early. Book your facial ahead of time so you’re not rushing the week of the event — your esthetician will thank you.
💆🏾♀️ For My Fellow Estheticians:
I know this season can feel like both a blessing and a marathon. You’re pouring into clients, managing long hours, and trying to remember if you even ate lunch. Be kind to yourself.
-
Take breaks between clients. Step outside, stretch, breathe — your energy is part of your service.
-
Offer mini “holiday recovery” facials. Think quick, hydrating, and glow-boosting — perfect for stressed-out clients and easy on your schedule.
-
Educate, don’t oversell. Clients trust your expertise. Give them simple, seasonal tips they can actually follow at home.
This season isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence. Your clients don’t just come for glowing skin; they come for the peace they feel when they’re in your care.
So take care of yourself, too. Light that candle. Play your favorite playlist. Pour into your own spirit the way you pour into everyone else’s. Because when you glow from within, everyone around you feels it. ✨
