Orlando… here I come.
Even typing those words feels surreal.
In just a few days, I’ll be stepping onto the stage at Premiere Orlando for my first official on-stage speaking presentations on May 30 and 31.
And honestly, this moment feels bigger than a speaking engagement.
It feels like a full-circle moment.
I Used to Sit in Rooms Like This
There was a time when I attended industry events simply hoping to learn.
Taking notes.
Watching educators on stage.
Trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible.
I remember sitting in rooms like this thinking about what was possible.
Wondering where this industry could eventually take me if I stayed committed to the work.
And now, years later, I’m preparing to stand on that stage myself.
Not because everything happened quickly.
But because I kept showing up.
The Journey Behind the Moment
Moments like this are easy to celebrate publicly.
But what people don’t always see is everything behind them.
The years of:
- Teaching
- Learning
- Refining
- Continuing through seasons that felt uncertain
The early mornings.
The late nights.
The quiet work that happened long before the opportunity became visible.
That’s the part that makes this moment emotional for me.
Because it represents growth that was built over time.
More Than Just a Presentation
What I’m most excited about isn’t just speaking.
It’s connecting.
Connecting with beauty professionals who are:
- Trying to grow
- Trying to expand
- Trying to see what’s possible for themselves in this industry
Because I know what it feels like to want more for your career while still figuring out how to get there.
And if my classes can help someone think bigger, move differently, or feel more confident about their future in this industry, that matters to me.
This Industry Changed My Life
The beauty industry gave me more than a career.
It gave me:
- Confidence
- Opportunity
- Purpose
- The ability to build a life I’m proud of
And moments like this remind me just how far this journey has taken me.
Not just professionally.
Personally too.
Orlando Feels Different
This trip feels different.
Not because it’s perfect.
Not because everything is figured out.
But because this season feels aligned.
The opportunities.
The growth.
The expansion happening both publicly and privately.
It all feels connected in a way I can finally recognize.
If You’re Attending Premiere Orlando
If you’ll be attending Premiere Orlando, I would genuinely love to see you there.
I’ll be teaching:
- Mastering Melanin: Advanced Skincare for Skin of Color - May 30, 2026
- Stack Your Streams: Building Income Beyond Services - May 31, 2026
There are moments in life where you realize you’re standing in rooms you once prayed for.
This is one of those moments for me.
And while I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity, I’m even more grateful for the journey that prepared me for it.
Orlando… here I come.
